Description
The Wireless Contactor Control provides the ability to remotely control contactors where a physical wire link would be unfeasible. The transmitter unit is connected to a dry contact (such as a GPR/IPR trip, or a generator transfer switch auxiliary terminal), while the receiver powers the remote contactor’s coil.
The PentaCODE transmitter/receiver pair provide both instant-on and instant-off functionality, as well as off-on-disconnect, complying with Energy Queensland STNW1174 s4.7.2/s4.7.4.1
The wireless link is suitable for single or multi-inverter networks controlled from a central grid protection system. It can also be used with a transfer switch to remotely trip contactors.
The module pair is provided pre-programmed and pre-configured, ready for on-site installation. Each transmitter can control an arbitrary number of receivers simultaneously if necessary. Multiple transmitter/receiver pairs can be present on the same site, provided they are set to different channels.
Items contained include:
- 1x PentaCODE 433MHz 4Ch Transmitter
- 1x Penta Series 433MHz 1Ch Receiver
- 2x 433MHz 4.5dBi 3.6m Antennas for 100m effective range (ideal conditions)
- 1x 24vDC DIN-Mount Power Supplies
If greater range (100-350m) is required, an optional 6dBi antenna upgrade is available.
